15: Slipping

Each year I count down the weeks in these posts, and at the beginning of the year 52 seems like so many. Now that we’re into the teens, the year is slipping away and I can’t believe how much time has passed. While 2020 has been a dumpster fire, there have also been memories made.

Thursday night I drove home so I could attend my uncle’s funeral on Friday. It was good to see family, and since this was my dad’s third sibling to pass away, it makes me remember my aunts and grandparents as well.

Fall is quickly filling up with social distancing activities. And as I start to feel better, I look forward to more walks in unique places. I have my 4 favorite walking areas, but I know there are more that I should be exploring.

Where do you like to walk?
