Happy Sunday friends! Instead of waiting for free time this weekend, I’m typing up my post a couple days early. Friday night I’m going to Hyacinth for dinner. Its the restaurant I wish had been open when I lived on Grand Avenue, so it’ll be interesting to see what I actually think about it.
Saturday morning I am headed to Duluth, its the first day of Bentleyville, so I’ll actually get to enjoy it this year, and I haven’t been to Duluth since April.
Upon arriving in Duluth I’ll get lunch and then a friend and I are going to talk 2020 goals. I use a Passion Planner as my regular planner/calendar, but I also downloaded and printed copies of Year Compass, which I highly recommend! If I were a manager I would be sending it to each of my employees.
Instead of only focusing on the coming year, you also reflect on the closing year. 2019 was good to me, and I’m interested to see how 2020 will go.
2017 was rough, and so was 2018, and I didn’t quite tell people how frustrated I was when it was happening. At the end of 2018 I spent more money than I wanted to on a career coach, and it paid off! I started my new job on May 1 and bought myself a new car in August. My personal life is also on an upswing, but naturally my meal planning hasn’t improved (someday!).
I’m sure I’ll have more posts on 2019 recaps and some 2020 focuses, but…
When do you start setting goals for the New Year?
