Monday Moment: Motivation!

I’m 2 months out from my birthday, and if I continue to eat good, I will be looking good! My new favorite mid-morning snack was teased on Instagram on Friday (also, if you’re not already please follow me!).

I found all of these ingredients at Target last weekend. The Seven Sunday’s Museli is a Minnesota company, and PB2 is a powdered peanut butter. I love sprinkling it on top of plain yogurt as it ends up tasting like peanut butter chobani!

I use 1/2 cup of yogurt, 1/2 cup of museli (be sure to measure that one!) and 1 teaspoon of pb2.

Saturday I worked out, and then was promptly a bum on my couch. It felt just as good to push it in the pool as it did to sit around that night.

What motivates you? Any healthy snacks or workouts I need to add into my life?


  1. I have seen museli popping up everywhere! I also love mixing plain greek yogurt with PB…I try to stay away from flavored greek yogurt because its so much higher in sugar, but PB with the plain greek yogurt totally does the trick for me. Also, good job on that swim ya rockstar. 🙂

    1. Thank you friend! The seven sundays is a MN company, and has some clever comments on the packaging about being a better choice than granola.

      If you ever want to try the best yogurt ever….strawberry rhubarb noosa is the best thing I’ve ever eaten. It is dessert.

  3. I have been meaning to try PB2 as I am a total PB junkie. Need to research if it has the protien of PB. As far as motivation, I think trackable challenges like Ironman March are great and fun! Not a swimmer so I am just doing a 100 mile challenge on Minneapolis Running blog. Keep up the awesome swimming! You’ll be a triathlete in no time!

    1. I was tempted to join that challenge, but I find when I start tracking in too many places I lose focus. Today its 12 degrees and I really hope we don’t get too much more snow, I’m ready to run outside already!!
