4th of July Sculpt Playlist

No clever titles around here today folks. For some reason I woke up at 6:30 ready to go, however the Yoga Sculpt class I’m teaching this morning doesn’t start until 9, so I really don’t need to get out of my bed quite yet.

Yesterday I finished up work around 4 pm and then taught my usual Wednesday night Sculpt class. It was a smaller group than usual, but I know quite a few of my regulars are planning on coming this morning instead. After I finished teaching I went over to the grocery store to pick up a few things for tomorrow: hotdogs, buns, water balloons, all the fourth of July staples.

I wanted to get out and do something, but since I have such a busy day today I decided to stay in and get some rest. I did end up making a 4th of July Yoga Sculpt playlist and thought I would share it with the rest of you!

Also on my schedule for the day, is having friends over, and taking part in the Boat Parade!  I’ve watched it almost every year on my lake, but have never participated and I finally have a group of friends who are interested!

After we get our fill of the lake we’ll probably head into town for the Fireworks, but I need to go to bed at a reasonable hour because I still have to work on Friday! I work in the convenience store industry, so this weekend is very important to our business. I’m thankful my dad works so darn hard to keep it all moving.

I don’t think I’ll find the time to post until Sunday or Monday, so I may as well share my Saturday plans as well. In the morning I’m going to participate in the Firecracker 5k in Nisswa. My friend Megan (who I did a few pre-grandma’s races with) told me about it, and I’ve never done a run over the 4th of July Weekend, so I’m excited to see how it goes. Especially considering I haven’t gone for a run since Grandmas! I have no idea what my time will be, but I was lucky enough to get a discount on the race through a local multi-sport group I’m facebook friends with.

Also on Saturday is a family friend’s annual lamb roast. Its always great to see old friends and catch up on how the summer is going.

Sunday will be spent relaxing, and then it will be time to start it all over again with teaching Sculpt at 6:15 am!

What are you doing this weekend? Have you ever participated in a 4th of July race?
