January 2013 Recap

I’ve been thinking for the last few days if I should do a monthly recap, and decided, why not?

Here’s what I accomplished in January: Set my 2013 resolutions, found a new gym and new workout (surfset), declared another new goal (with no deadline), ran a 10k, and talked a little about how I organize my email. I also attended a girls weekend (which was a blast) and started doing some social media work on the side of my real job.

In February I plan on: doing a Valentines Day 5k race (on Feb. 9), hopefully another girls night (with a different set of girls), having a week by myself with plenty of time to cook, possibly taking a yoga certification, and starting marathon training!

I find that the more things I plan and have to look forward to, the quicker winter goes. Do you agree? Or is winter long and boring no matter what you have going on in your life?
